Overview

For Electric Callboy’s international Tanzneid Arena Tour, we created the full Production Design, including stage architecture, lighting design, and the visual concept. The central challenge was developing a show format that could tour internationally, scale to different venue sizes, and maintain tight pacing throughout the concert.

Electric Callboy live: stage with pyrotechnic flames and light beams

The stage design centred on a modular podium layout, engineered to scale with the tour and adapt to varying trim heights. At its core, a main upstage LED wall extended into angled side walls, wrapping forwards to integrate the IMAG screens. This structure allowed for consistent show delivery across diverse international venues.

Three X-shaped kinetic elements were rigged above the stage. These combined lighting and video fixtures served as lighting sources, LED canvases, and SFX partners. They merged lighting and content into a single platform, defining the tone and rhythm of each show chapter.

The content was built around a robot character guiding the audience through six chapters of the set. Each block featured its own introduction, maintaining pace during costume changes. The robot triggered signature sounds, setting the mood and hinting at upcoming segments – from the main show introduction through to an '80s chapter, a DJ set, a metal segment, an acoustic moment at the front of the house, and the encore section.

During rehearsals, the band simultaneously shot the music video for their latest track, incorporating the X-shaped elements. Using a shared visual language, the opening of the show was designed to transition seamlessly from the video aesthetic to the first live chapter.
